What’s covered
- Assistant Instructor Course (3-4 days). Foundation of teaching: presentation skills, classroom management, PADI standards.
- Open Water Scuba Instructor Course (5+ days). Teaching skills for all PADI courses up to Rescue Diver.
- Emergency First Response Instructor (1-2 days). Qualifies you to teach EFR (CPR/first aid).
- Instructor Examination (2 days). The official PADI exam. Conducted by a PADI Examiner who flies in.
- Teaching practice (4 weeks, optional but strongly recommended). Teach real students under supervision. Build confidence before your first solo course.
- Employment workshop. CV review, dive shop application coaching, introductions to our network.

Prerequisites
- PADI Divemaster (or equivalent: SSI, TDI, NAUI accepted)
- 60+ logged dives to start the IDC, 100+ for the IE
- Certified diver for 6+ months
- EFR Primary and Secondary Care current within 24 months
- Dive medical within 12 months
- 18+ years old
