What’s included in every all-in price

  • All PADI course fees and materials
  • All training dives, fun dives during the program (typically 60+ dives)
  • Full equipment rental (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, dive computer)
  • Accommodation in shared dive house on Bounty Beach (private room available, small upcharge)
  • Tank fills, weights, marine park fees
  • Boat transport to all dive sites including Monad Shoal (thresher sharks)
  • Philippine visa renewals during your stay (for stays over 30 days)
  • Airport pickup from Cebu
  • Welcome dinner

What’s NOT included (be aware)

  • Flights to Cebu (Manila or direct depending on origin)
  • PADI Instructor Examination fee (USD 1,120) — only applies if you’re going for OWSI
  • PADI annual membership fee (USD 142/year) — only applies after certification
  • Personal insurance — required, we recommend DAN World (USD 99/year)
  • Food and drink (estimate USD 12-25/day, much cheaper than the West)
  • Personal travel and excursions on days off
  • Specialty courses you add (Nitrox, Deep, Wreck, Sidemount, etc. — USD 200-400 each)

Realistic total trip budget

For an 8-week Divemaster internship coming from Europe or US:

  • Internship all-in: USD 3,800
  • Flights: USD 800-1,400
  • Food and drink (8 weeks): USD 700-1,400
  • Insurance: USD 99
  • Personal spending: USD 400-800
  • Realistic total: USD 5,800-7,500

For a 16-week Zero to Hero coming from Europe or US: realistic total USD 8,500-11,000.
